e-MDs 2009 User Conference and Symposium Focuses on Continuing Medical Education

EHR vendor to host 5th annual forum of learning and interaction.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – e-MDs, an industry leader in the development and implementation of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) solutions proudly announces the 5th annual 2009 User Conference & Symposium (UCS09), which will be held in the new state-of-the art AT&T Center from July 23-25, in Austin, Texas. This year, e-MDs is collaborating with Primary Care Network, a leading educator in continuing medical education to offer CME credits to attendees.

The 2009 conference will be the first of its kind, restructured to address the needs of the national medical community, while continuing to educate current clients through CME accredited courses. UCS09 Symposium events will focus on the current status of the Health Information Technology industry, including the recent stimulus provisions in The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Medical professionals and e-MDs users will also benefit from a well-rounded curriculum that addresses improving patient care, clinical workflow, compliance and much more.

UCS09 will continue in the tradition of idea exchange and improved utilization of e-MDs Solution Series™ product suite, and these client-focused sessions will address clinical and operational best practices, workflow optimization, and revenue enhancing processes. The product curriculum has been significantly expanded to accommodate the full spectrum of client requirements, to benefit e-MDs customers of all experience levels.

Hosted at Austin’s newest high-tech learning facility, the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center (www.meetattexas.com), the event is poised to be the most expansive and exciting program in e-MDs conference history. Registration began March 15, 2009 and will run through July 1, 2009.
