e-MDs Names Christine Homer as New Chief Operations Officer
Company promotes from within to maintain synergy as industry growth booms.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, e-MDs, an industry leader in the development and implementation of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) solutions, announced the promotion of Christine Homer to Chief Operations Officer (COO). In her role as COO, Ms. Homer will coordinate and direct the activities of e-MDs to support the company’s policies, goals, and growth objectives. Ms. Homer’s promotion marks another strategic milestone with e-MDs’ continued emphasis on preparing for the economic stimulus and enhancing one of the most well respected and tenured senior management teams in the industry. e-MDs also recently hired two highly experienced individuals in their client services department, Mike Maldonado is their new director of support, and Jeff Falwell has assumed the role of director of training and implementation.

Ms. Homer brings with her 20 years of leadership experience in resource management, curriculum development, and training delivery in the high tech sector. She previously served as Vice President of Client Services, leading teams that created and implemented strategies for internal and client-facing training and improvement, including the e-MDs on-line Customer Support Center which has had a positive influence on customer satisfaction, , including the addition of eTicketing, product downloads, an extensive knowledge base, and a nation-wide user forum for information sharing and collaboration. In her new capacity Ms. Homer will focus on meeting the needs of e-MDs customers through refinements to levels of operational efficiency throughout the company.
