After a rigorous 8-month due-diligence process, e-MDs is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Alaska EHR Alliance (AEHRA) as one of two preferred EHR vendors for Alaska providers. The EHR selection project--funded by the Alaska eHealth Network through a grant from the State of Alaska--was initiated, in part, due to statistics from a 2009 EHR usage survey that showed that one of the top barriers to adopting an EHR was the difficulty deciding which EHR to choose.

e-MDs Solution Series 6.3.0 is 2008 CCHIT Certified in Ambulatory, as well as Child Health and Cardiovascular Medicine, and will qualify for the National EHR Certification Standards for Meaningful Use (once they are established).
