AUSTIN, TX – On July 2, 2012, Dr. Michael Stearns was terminated as CEO of the company following accusations of inappropriate behavior brought forth by company employees. Due to the nature of the accusations, the company terminated his employment with eMDs immediately.

In addition, the Board of Directors appointed Dr. David Winn, (M.D., FAAFP), Chairman of the Board and Founder of eMDs, to immediately step in as the CEO. Because of Dr. Winn’s close involvement with the company from its inception, there should be no disruption in operations or customer service of any kind.
