VP of Business Development Expands Partnership Efforts

e-MDs recently welcomed Maria Rudolph, MPH, as she assumed the role of Vice President of Business Development. Maria brings extensive experience with electronic health record (EHR) vendors from her past roles in development and implementation at Cerner and QuadraMed, two leading acute care EHR vendors. More recently, she led Informatics initiatives for two major medical associations, the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Maria leads e-MDs effort in developing new alliances to promote the adoption of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) with a focus on interoperability initiatives such as Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE ) and the Collaborative for Performance Measure Development. Maria also actively participates in IHE domains for Patient Care Coordination (PCC) and Quality, Reporting and Public Health (QRPH) and the IHE Interoperability Showcase, and she represents e-MDs within the EHRA, focusing on government and regulatory issues.
