The latest addition to e-MDs' suite of solutions designed to help physicians rediscover the joy of practicing medicine, e-MDs Rounds enables physicians to efficiently manage their appointment schedules, capture charges, and record clinical activity via a Pocket PC mobile device.
Rounds provides complete access to office schedules, as well as a detailed list of patients scheduled for hospital or nursing home round visits. Pertinent information about each patient's hospitalization can be viewed, including sortable information on the facility, admission date and reason, room number, and admitting and referring physicians. Detailed clinical data can also be viewed on the patient's allergies, current medication list, problem list, and past medical history.
Lost hospital charges are a thing of the past as physicians can quickly record all charges incurred during rounding via Rounds's coding assistant that includes physician specific coding and modifier short lists, as well as e-MDs proprietary ICD-9/CPT® code linking technology. e-MDs Rounds will also automatically generate the appropriate E&M (evaluation and management) code with support for multiple visit types. Print out charge tickets to deliver to your billing service or office staff, or automatically upload all charge activity to e-MDs billing application for posting and filing. In addition, physicians can dictate or type clinical notes that are easily uploaded and transcribed by office staff. Finally, Rounds ensures scheduled rounds visits are conducted, and reconciles charges against scheduled patients to prevent missing charges.
