Track View

The 2008 e-MDs User Conference offers 6 (six) tracks of suggested curriculm from which attendees can select sessions. These tracks provide guided courses for attendees wishing to focus on one or two specific knowledgebases, and include Beginner Chart, Advanced Chart, Beginner Bill, Advanced Bill, Front Desk and IT (Information Technology).

Beginner Chart: These courses are designed for users who are comfortable with creating a visit note and utilizing the basic functionality of e-MDs Chart, but who would like to gain a greater understanding of Chart features.  Participants will learn to maximize the benefits of Chart and improve documentation efficiency.

Advanced Chart: Topics to be covered in the Advanced Chart track include using the template library, analyzing clinical reports, creating and customizing flowsheets, optimizing workflow with lab interfaces, and improving overall clinical workflow. Participants will gain skills that allow them to maximize productivity by customizing Chart features to meet the specific needs of their clinic.

Beginner Bill: These courses are designed for users who are familiar with the basic functionality of Bill.  The Beginner Bill sessions will review essential features for invoice creation, claims filing, and payment posting, and will offer proven workflow procedures to streamline the billing process.

Advanced Bill: The sessions included in the Advanced Bill track will explore the more complex billing tasks, including HCFA definitions, payment adjustments, and a variety of unique billing scenarios the user may encounter.  These sessions will also provide a comprehensive review of how the Collections Module and the Daily Work List can enhance the billing workflow.

Front Desk: Attend the Front desk courses to learn more about e-MDs modules specifically designed to optimize the front office workflow.  These courses are designed for the user who is familiar with e-MDs Schedule module and who understand patient registration responsibilities.  Curriculum includes some of the more advanced scheduling features, such as setting up recurring appointments.  Participants will also learn techniques for more effective utilization of search functionality and for improving workflow with the Daily Work List and Case Management components of e-MDs Solution Series.

IT: The IT track is intended for the technical support position within your clinic.
